Currency :
The common currency in Swiss is the Francs Suisse (CHF). The majority shops accept the Euro Bills (EUR).

In restaurants, the service is included in the note. To leave a tipi s in the free-choice of the consumer.

the banks from les Diablerets exchange all the common currencies in CHF (EUR, $, £, ¥, CAD, AUD…). Each of these banks is equipped with a distributor opened 7d/7 and 24 hours a day allowing to remove or to deposit money (CHF or €). Credit card :
- The main credit card (Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa, Prepaid Mastercard, American Express, Unionpay) are accepted in most of the shops, restaurants and Hotels.
- Debit card (EC, PostFinance card, Maestro, Cirrus,…) can be used like means of payment in the shops and hotels.
Distributor :
« BCV » : The accepted cards are : Maestro Cirrus, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Pay plus, American Express, Postcard, Unionpay. It’s possible to remove money (CHF and EUR) as well as to pay (CHF and EUR) into an account (Only BCV members).
It’s also possible to reload its credit of its mobile.
« Raiffeisen » : The accepted cards are : Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Raiffeisen. It’s possible to remove money (CHF and EUR) as well as to pay (CHF and EUR) into an account (Only Raiffeisen members).
« Poste » : The accepted cards are : Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and all the cards of the other banks Swiss. It’s possible to remove money (CHF and EUR) as well as to pay (CHF and EUR) into an account (Only Poste members).
Taxes :
A value-added tax (VAT) is included in the bill. This tax corresponds to 8.0% of the price of the services.
Checks :
Checks aren’t accepted in Switzerland.
